"Help me! Please help me!" James screamed as he madly scratched his upper left arm. It seemed as though no one could see him as he ran down the very narrow and very crowded sidewalk. Perhaps they were simply ignoring him, as is typical in the Big City. He began to scratch at his chest, seeking relief.
"Help me!" Still no one looked towards him. He rounded the corner and could bear that itch no longer. He clawed at his shirt and began to scratch his chest even harder. The itch would not go away, in fact it seemed to only get worse. The more he scratched, the more other parts of him itched.
Looking at his fingers, he saw crimson. Looking at his chest, he saw gashes where he had dug in. As that crimson fell to the concrete, he could even feel the sidewalk beneath itch. How could that be...
Let's get one thing straight right off the bat..
I am not real.
I do not exist.
Sometimes we have Dark Angels watching over us when we are in dark situations, not because they are dark themselves but because they know how the dark works.
"Watch out! There is something sinister and evil under that hat!" Ralph shouted.
"I can assure you there is nothing evil nor is there anything sinister under this hat, mister Zindelour." This coming from the man in the top coat.
Ralph shifted uneasy in his seat. He could see the top coat man's hands inching closer to that black hat. In the breath of just one little moment Ralph saw what was going to happen, he knew that man's secret, what that man was really about to do. Ralph knew that under that black hat was hidden a gateway to another place and another time. He also knew that everyone sitting here was going to turn into a fish if the man in the top coat were to pick up that black hat.
